"My Story" MTHFR/ IV Therapy 6
It was now approaching the end of the Summer. I made the appointment with the doctor in Fort Worth who would test me for Candida and also do extensive lab work. After a long interview with me about the Collembola the doctor's Nurse Practitioner in Fort Worth ordered lab work testing me for everything from diabetes to an enzyme that breaks down toxins. My Candida lab somehow got lost in the shuffle but what they did find was that I had a genetic mutation gene called MTHFR which means that my body couldn't naturally detox toxins. Who knew that 40% of the population have this mutation!
Where do the toxins go? Since the body can't detox naturally it stores the toxins in the cells, so over many years you become toxic. Think of it like a slow poisoning of the organs, blood, and tissue. This is information that makes you pause and wonder why this hadn't been caught before now? If 40% of the population have this gene mutation then why are we not hearing about it?
At the time I was also going to the Feel the Freedom Spa in Richardson, TX to do the foot detox when CJ the owner recommend a doctor in Heath, TX who did IV therapy that might help me detox. I was still on the candida diet and still wanted a second opinion on the candida. Taking a look at the situation and with all of the other doctors not having anything else for me except for the diet and Fluconazole, I decided why not, even though I have a needle phobia. I was still having activity all over my body and scalp and would try anything for relief. However I still did massive research on how safe IV's were with detoxing the body. When I was satisfied I called and made an appointment at the Gonino Center.
